What Do We Need for Band

WHAT WILL MY CHILD NEED FOR BAND?

EVERYONE will need:

1. “Measures of Success Book 1” for your child’s instrument. Baritone/Euphonium players please buy the baritone b.c. (bass clef) book. 
2. A pencil.
3. A music stand is highly encouraged.
4. An instrument.
5. Please check for your child’s instrument specific needs.

Flutes

-cleaning cloth and rod

Clarinets and Saxophones

-cleaning swab

-cork grease

-box of 10 reeds (2.5 strength)

Trumpets, French Horns, Baritones, Euphoniums,

-valve oil (Yamaha Synthetic or Al Cass)

-slide grease

-instrument cleaning snake

Trombones

-spray bottle for slide

-slide grease (Yamaha or Slide-O-Mix)

-instrument cleaning snake

Tubas

-valve oil (Yamaha Synthetic or Al Cass)

-slide grease

Percussion

-Percussion Combo Kit (Comes with bells, practice pad, mallets, drum sticks)
