1.  Goals - You will find the most success if you practice regularly with specific goals in mind.

2.  Practice Tips
a.  Practice 15 minutes a day.
b.  Write down assigned exercises and circle problem areas.  (Always have a pencil with you.) 
c.     Begin practice sessions with a warm-up including long tones.
d.    Count, clap, and “finger” your playing assignments. 
e.    Practice trouble spots, not just the sections you know. 
f.     Find a special practice spot, a chair aiding in proper posture, and a music stand.   Set a practice routine. 
g.     Give spur of the moment concerts for other family members or friends. 
h.    Find a friend to practice with.
i.      ASK FOR HELP IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF SOMETHING OR GET FRUSTRATED!!
